1. Download the APP using one of these methods:
1)Method 1: Search for 【U Mower】 in your phone’s app store:
  • iPhone users: Download via the App Store.
  • Android users: Download via Google Play.
2)Method 2: Scan the QR code on the Quick Start Guide card or in the user manual for direct app download.

2. Register and log in to the APP. For smooth setup:
Grant Bluetooth and location permissions when prompted.
  • Follow the in-app instructions to add all devices from the package.
  • For visual guidance, go to the app’s "Help Center > User Manual" to watch the full installation video.
3. Add devices in this follow list after installing the APP:
  • LoRa Gateway
  • Robotic Mower
  • Reference Station
  • Charging Station of the Robotic Lawn Mower

Q: How do I install the LoRa Gateway after completing the initial app setup?

A: Follow these steps to install the LoRa Gateway seamlessly:
1. Preparation:
  • Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network (if using 5GHz WiFi, enable Device Compatibility Mode in the app).
  • Install worry-free—the LoRa gateway setup is safe with your other smart devices at home. 
2. Installation Steps:
  • Step 1: Place the LoRa Gateway near your indoor router. Connect it to power using the provided adapter. The LoRa gateway’s indicator light will blink blue.
  • Step 2: In the app, tap Next to enter the SN Code search device page. Verify and select the SN code matching the one on the bottom of your LoRa gateway.
  • Step 3: Tap Next to open the WiFi configuration page. Select your 2.4GHz WiFi (or 5GHz WiFi with compatibility mode enabled) and enter the correct password.
  • Step 4: Tap Next and wait for the app to confirm the LoRa Gateway is successfully added.

Q: How do I install my UBHOME robotic lawn mower?

A: Follow these steps after ensuring the LoRa gateway is added and your app is online:
1. Activate the mower:
  • Press and hold the【Power】button on the mower’s top for 3 seconds until the screen lights up and you hear "Power On".
  • Immediately hold the 【Return to Charging Station】 button for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode.
2. Add the mower in the app:
  • Tap Next in the app to access the SN Code search device pag. The app will automatically detect and select the matching mower SN code.
3. Complete setup:
  • Tap Next again and wait for the app to confirm the mower is successfully added.

Q: How do I add and install the first reference station?

A: Ensure the LoRa Gateway and robotic lawn mower are already added and both devices/app are online, then follow these steps:
【Adding the Reference Station】
1. Assemble the reference station:
  • Follow the in-app video guide to assemble the reference station components.
2. Power up the reference station:
  • Connect the reference station to the charging station using the 2m (6.56 ft) extension cable.
  • Use the 10m (32.81 ft) charging station extension cable to link the station to its adapter, then plug the adapter into a power outlet.
  • The reference station's indicator light will blink blue once powered.
3. Pair the reference station in the app:
  • Tap [Next] in the app to access the SN Code search device page. The app will auto-detect and select the matching reference station SN code.
4. Complete pairing:
  • Tap [Next] again and wait for the app to confirm the reference station is added.
【Installing the Reference Station】
1. Position the reference station:
  • After successful pairing, move the reference station and charging station to your desired location as guided by the app.
2. Ensure:
  • No obstructions within a 120° angle above the reference station.
  • Flat ground within a 2m (6.56  ft) radius around the reference station.
3. Confirm the location:
  • Tap [Next] to check the location’s suitability:
  • If the app confirms “Location Available”, secure the reference station in place (refer to the video guide).
  • If it warns “Weak Signal”, reposition the reference station and charging station until the signal improves.

Q: How do I install the charging station?

A: Ensure the LoRa Gateway, robotic mower, and reference station are already added and all devices/app are online, then follow these steps:
1. Position the charging station.
  • Place the charging station under the installed reference station.
  • Ensure the area 2m (6.56 ft) in front of the station is flat and unobstructed.
2. Charge the lawn mower:
  • Place the mower inside the charging station to start charging.
3. Test the charging station setup:
  • Tap [Next] in the app. The mower will drive out of the station and automatically return to it.
  • Do not block the mower’s path or move it manually during this process.
  • If the mower returns successfully, the charging statio is added. If it fails, follow the app prompts to retry.

Q: How do I add and install the second reference station?

A: Ensure the LoRa Gateway, robotic lawn mower, and first reference station are already added and all devices/app are online
Follow these steps:
1. Start the setup:
  • Go to the Device Management interface in the app.
  • Tap the [+] symbol next to the existing reference station to begin adding the second one.
2. Power up the second reference station:
  • Use the 10m (32.81 ft) extension cable included with the second reference station to connect it to its adapter.
  • Plug the adapter into a power outlet. The reference station’s indicator light will blink blue once powered.
3. Pair the second reference station:
  • Tap [Next] in the app to access the SN Code search device page.
  • Verify and select the SN code displayed on the bottom of the second reference station.
4. Complete the setup:
  • Tap [Next] again and wait for the app to confirm the second reference station is successfully added.
5. Do not move the reference station after installation. To reposition it, replace the location via Device Management.

Q: How do I create a map for my robotic lawn mower?

A: Ensure all devices are added and online, then follow these steps:
1. For a new map:
  • If you’ve just finished adding devices and no map exists, tap the [To Mapping] button in the app to enter mapping mode.
2. For editing an existing map:
  • If a map is already created, go to the app’s Settings page and tap [Edit Map] to re-enter mapping mode.
3. Draw zones in mapping mode:
Follow the in-app instructions to define:
  • Work Areas (up to 15 zones).
  • No-go zone (up to 12 zones).
  • Pathways (connections between zones).
4. Save configurations:
Confirm all zones and pathways, then save the map.
Note: The device supports ≤15 work areas and ≤12 no-go zones. Adjust zones as needed for optimal navigation.

Q: How do I draw a work area on the app map?

A: After selecting Work Area in the map element options and choosing a drawing method (Remote Control mode is selected by default), follow these steps:
1. Start drawing:
  • Control the mower to drive to the edge of your lawn where you want to set the virtual boundary.
  • Ensure the area is open above for optimal GPS signal reception (required for the M10 module).
  • Tap the [Start] button to confirm the starting point. Note: Boundary recording begins only after this step.
2. Trace the boundary:
  • Control the mower to move along the lawn boundary until it returns to the starting point.
3. Complete the work area:
  • Tap [End] to close the boundary shape. The work area is now saved.
  • To continue mapping other zones, tap [Continue Mapping].
Notes:
  • Use Remote Control mode (default) or Guide Mode (manual path tracing) based on your preference.
  • Ensure consistent GPS signal strength during mapping for boundary accuracy.
